I had a super nice time with Chica Travel! After booking my flight ticket and paying my contribution, the travel adventure started. This is what you can expect:
DAY 1
Arrival in Málaga & Rooftop Welcome
Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to our charming boutique hotel in the historic centre. After check-in, enjoy time to settle in, explore the neighbourhood, or take your first stroll through the beautiful streets of Málaga.
In the evening, we gather for a welcome cocktail on a rooftop terrace, overlooking the city as the sun begins to set. A relaxed and elegant start to your Andalusian escape.
DAY 2
The Living Heritage of Andalusian Food Culture
Today we dive into Málaga’s rich culinary traditions.
Join a curated food experience through the city, where we discover the flavours that have shaped Andalusian life for generations. Think local markets, artisan products, hidden gems, and delicious tastings along the way. Guided by Izabela, a true Malagena who is passionate about sharing authentic Andalusian life and traditions. Learn how food, history, and culture are deeply connected in southern Spain.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Spend time at the beach, do some fun shopping, visit museums or relax in the hammam.
DAY 3
Cooking with the Grandmothers on an Olive Finca
Today is a true Chica Travel signature experience. We leave the city and head into the countryside to a beautiful olive finca, where local Andalusian grandmothers welcome us into their kitchen traditions. Together we prepare authentic tapas and treasured family recipes passed down through generations. Expect warmth, laughter, stories, and unforgettable flavours. The late afternoon is at your leisure back in Málaga.
DAY 4
Creative Málaga & Sunset at Sea
Today we discover a different side of Málaga.
In the morning, enjoy a guided walk through the trendy Soho district, known for its vibrant street art, creative energy, and independent spirit. You’ll see impressive murals, stylish cafés, hidden corners, and the modern soul of the city. The afternoon is free for your own plans.
In the evening, we celebrate our final full day with a magical sunset sailing experience along the Málaga coastline. Relax with a drink as the sky turns gold over the Mediterranean Sea. A moment to remember.
DAY 5
Slow Morning & Farewell
Enjoy a peaceful final breakfast and one last coffee in the sunshine. Depending on your flight time, there may be time for a final stroll or some last-minute shopping before your airport transfer. We say goodbye with full hearts, beautiful memories, and the flavours of Andalusia still lingering.
