This is a unique opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Tarifa and Cadiz and experience the exotic ambience of Morocco. A whole week with endless beach and nature walks, stunning vistas, food & wine experiences and other cultural activities in Tangier and Cadiz one of the oldest cities of the world. Tarifa is a town in the most Southern part of Spain, quite unlike any other in Andalusia, it boasts a bohemian, alternative ambiance all of its own. Nowhere is this more noticeable than in the old town, where you’ll find loads of super-cool cocktail bars, cafes and tapas joints. Tarifa is a place in which to simply BE. It has gorgeous white sandy beaches, bohemian style beach clubs and a natural surrounding that invites you to simply breath in breath out. Exploring the historic heart of Tangier and its lively and vibrant atmosphere of the medina, a culinary food tour to know Cadiz through its cuisine and local wines, horse riding along the stunning beaches of Tarifa, plenty of time for shopping and sunbathing are some of the ingredients of this transformative journey from the charming Spanish life to a completely different and exciting Moroccan world. Highlights
DAY 1
Tarifa
Today you will arrive in Málaga and we will take you to Tarifa. As soon as you arrive at the accommodation you can do some exploring of Tarifa on your own. In the evening the trip starts, with a welcome dinner in one of the best beach clubs of Tarifa where we will enjoy a casual tapas style shared dinner and drinks to get to know each other and watch the sun slowly go down behind the horizon of the Costa de La Luz.
DAY 2
Punta Paloma
After extended breakfast with lots of local delicacies we will stretch our legs along one of Andalusia’s most stunning beaches, Punta Paloma an unspoiled paradise beach with huge blond sand dunes. Lather yourself up in a natural mud bath and soak up the sun beams caressing your face, a sensational experience to fully relax. The rest of the afternoon will be free for you to explore on your own or do some shopping before we meet again in the early evening for a spectacular horse ride along the beach. The well trained horses are looking forward to lead you the way. For those who are not comfortable being on a horse are able to join us on foot or just relax on the beach watching the magical sunset. In the evening we meet up for a delicious candlelight picnic.
DAY 3
Cádiz
Today it’s time to discover Cádiz Town. The way to a city’s heart it’s through its food! Therefore a local food expert is ready to give you a taste of the real Cadiz satisfying your cravings for local food and city highlights such as Plaza de las Flores and the central market. After the tour you will have plenty of time to do some (souvenir) shopping or to just wander around enjoying the cozy streets of Cadiz at your own pace. The evening is free so you will have plenty of time to relax at the beach or just to enjoy the views from our rooftop with a glass of cava.
DAY 4
El estrecho
Today we get into our hiking shoes for a hiking and photography tour in the magical El Estrecho natural park. During this hike we will visit 3 viewpoints which are perfect for photographers and instagrammers. As well, we will learn about the culinary, medicinal and traditional use of Mediterranean plants while taking in incredible views from viewpoint to viewpoint. Lunch is at your leisure. In the evening we will come together for a Sherry wine tasting, the most famous product of the province of Cadiz. Our wine certified guide will tell you all about the process of how to make Spanish Sherry, all the different types, it’s origin and how to do the tasting of the very best Sherry’s of the area. Of course there will be some delicious food plates pairing.
DAY 5
Morocco
It’s time to explore another continent. The ferry takes us in just an hour to the exotic world of Tangier. Immerse yourself in Morocco’s rich cultural heritage and visit iconic sites like the historic Kasbah, the Grand Soco, and the bustling medina of Tangier with its many colorful shops. We’ll have lunch in a traditional restaurant to savor the original, rich flavors of Morocco, and conclude the afternoon with a cocktail on the rooftop terrace of the former villa of fashion legend Yves Saint Laurent, a true oasis of peace and tranquility with breathtaking panoramic views over the Bay of Tangier.
DAY 6
Chefchaouen
This morning our driver will pick us up for an enchanting day in Chefchaouen, famously known as the “Blue Pearl”. After a 2.5 hours drive through stunning mountain scenery in the Rif Mountains, this magical town awaits us. Upon arrival, our local guide will lead us through the maze of narrow streets, all painted in serene shades of blue. Every corner is picture-perfect, but more than that, it’s a place where time seems to slow down. Along the way, you’ll discover small artisan shops, and soak up the town’s unique mix of calmness and energy. There will be enough free time to enjoy relaxed lunch full of Moroccan flavors, and explore at your own pace, shop for local crafts, or simply admire the mountain views. We will return to Tangier for our farewell diner, with hearts full of impressions and memories painted in blue.
DAY 7
Goodbye & departure
Unfortunately, our time together has come to an end. After breakfast we depart together to the airport and say goodbye to our fellow chicas.
